(1) When using hydrogen or decomposing ammonia, nitrogen must be introduced first, and when the air in the furnace is completely discharged, the electricity can be heated to prevent crowing and explosion.
(2) For the Vacuum sintering furnace with molybdenum wire as the heating element, protective gas should be introduced into the furnace before electricity is supplied to prevent the molybdenum wire from being oxidized and brittle.
(3) The furnace door and the gas discharge port should be burnt out in order to prevent the risk of explosion and gas poisoning due to the ingress of oxygen or hydrogen.
(4) If the electric heating element is iron-chromium-aluminum resistance wire, it should stay for a period of time (about 30min) when it is heated up to 1100°C, and then raise the temperature to prevent the surface temperature of the resistance wire from being damaged due to excessive temperature.
(5) Check whether the airflow and water flow meet the requirements before and during the temperature increase, and check whether the control instruments for the equipment, electricity, and furnace temperature are normal.
(6) The power should be turned off before shutting down the furnace. When the temperature of the furnace falls below 200°C, stop and stop the water.
(7) In addition to stopping the vacuum sintering furnace due to maintenance, frequent shutdowns should be avoided. The frequent start and stop of the vacuum sintering furnace can cause the heating element to be easily aged, the refractory material is easy to crack, the atmosphere in the furnace is impure, and the furnace temperature is easy to fluctuate.

When the production of powder metallurgy parts exceeds a certain scale, in order to ensure the quality of the sintered parts and the service life of the vacuum sintering furnace, the vacuum sintering furnace should have a sintering atmosphere conveying pipe configuration and a cooling water cooling device.
